By CHRIS MOORE STEVE BRUCE has hailed Arsenal striker Thierry Henry as the best player in the world. And the Birmingham boss admitted: ³Some people say he¹s not a prolific goalscorer. But if 32 goals in two seasons isn¹t prolific, I don¹t know what is. ³Throw in all his Oassists¹, the fact he plays week-in, week-out and that the rest of us are for ever going OBloody hell, not Henry again¹ and I would have to vote him the world¹s best at the moment.² Arsene Wenger¹s table-topping Gunners arrive at St Andrew¹s today minus the FOUR stars banned for their part in September¹s Battle of Old Trafford. But while Bruce admits the suspensions of Patrick Vieira, Martin Keown, Ray Parlour and Lauren can only aid his side¹s cause, he would rather they all be available in return for Henry being absent. Bruce added: ³He¹s a fantastic talent and the complete footballer < probably the most coveted in the Premiership. ³It¹s a privilege for the rest of us to be on the same field. ³If anyone could afford him maybe it¹s our owners David Sullivan and David Gold and, whatever it cost, I¹m sure he would repay it. ³If I could have anything I wanted for Christmas, I¹d take Thierry Henry.² www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2002390000-2003540613,00.html
