Lazio have joined AS Monaco in the race for Arsenal striker Sylvain Wiltord.
Monaco are ready to hold talks with Wiltord in January, but will face competition from Lazio, whose trainer Roberto Mancini is keen to sign the Frenchman.
Wiltord is out of contract in June, so allowing him to speak with interested clubs from January 1.
Both Monaco and Lazio are preparing financial packages worth around £30,000-a-week to table the striker.
