Marc-Vivien Foé died during a Confederations Cup gameThierry Henry, Robert Pires, Sylvain Wiltord and Lauren all played in a memorial match for Marc-Vivien Foé in Lyon on Tuesday night. Lauren came out of international retirement for one match to represent Cameroon against a "Friendship Team" which comprised former team-mates of Foé including Arsenal's French trio. The former Cameroon international tragically died during a Confederations Cup game at the same ground in June, and the income raised from Tuesday's memorial match will go to a charity fund chaired by Foé's wife Marie-Louise. Patrick Mboma, Modeste Mbami and Samuel Eto'o were all on target in a 3-1 win for Cameroon. Sonny Anderson scored for the "Friendship Team". [12 November 2003]
