New Wycombe boss Tony Adams could be set to link up with former Arsenal colleague Gilles Grimandi. Adams, who began his managerial career with a 4-1 FA Cup win over Swindon, is keen to boost his squad in a bid to drag Wycombe off the foot of Division Two. He has a £70,000 transfer kitty provided by several club sponsors, and has discussed bringing 33-year-old Frenchman Grimandi in as player-coach. Wycombe chairman Ivor Beeks said: 'We need to make signings and we hope to do that quickly.' Grimandi left Arsenal in July last year to play Major League Soccer in the USA.
