Barcelona president Sandro Rossell has re-iterated his desire to sign Arsenal striker Thierry Henry. The Spanish giants have again declared their interest in Arsenal's French international striker and insist they have the financial clout to back their claim. "Barcelona Football Club has the capacity to sign Michael Owen or Thierry Henry because it has credibility among financial institutions," Rossell told the Daily Star newspaper. "Henry is one of the players we are interested in." Henry, who joined the Gunners for £10.5m from Juventus four years ago, signed a new contract at the end of last season. The new deal keeps him at Highbury until 2007 - but that has not stopped him being linked with some big-money moves. Chelsea were reported to be lining up a £50m bid for the striker at the start of this season. But Henry said at the time: "I said before the Confederations Cup that I would sign a new contract and wanted to play for Arsenal no matter what and I still have the same spirit at the moment. "I'm still an Arsenal player and as long as they want me to be here I will be an Arsenal player."
