Former Arsenal favourite Paul Davis has told Sky Sports News that the current crop WILL make the knockout stages of the Champions League.
The Gunners lie bottom of Group B with one point and one goal from their first three games - and have won just once in their last 12 Champions League games.
They take on Dynamo Kiev at Highbury on Wednesday night in a must-win game, but Davis believes they will get it right and reproduce the form that has taken them to the top of the Premiership.
"Remember Newcastle had a similar sort of stat last year when they were bottom after three games and they did it," he said. "I wouldn't back against Arsenal doing it again - starting tonight.
"Arsene Wenger has always been calm and what has happened now is that the pressure is really on the players to put in a performance and get the win. There's no doubt about it, we need a win. We can still go through if we draw, but that will mean depending on the other teams."
Davis does not agree that the Gunners have become a one-man team, but he does feel it is time that the likes of Dennis Bergkamp, Sylvain Wiltord, Robert Pires and Freddie Ljungberg started weighing in with goals.
Thierry Henry has scored half of Arsenal's goals this season - and their solitary Champions League strike - but Davis believes there will be a different name on the scoresheet soon.
"The onus is now on the other players, Wiltord, Pires and Bergkamp - if he plays - and they've done it in the past and I think it will happen again.
"Statistically people will say if you stop Henry, you stop Arsenal, but we have got players that can score goals - I left out Freddie Ljungberg, who is very important. I am confident they will get it together and get the goals they need."
