could be out until December Arsène Wenger was happy to report no new injuries before Arsenal’s all-important Champions League tie with Dynamo Kyiv at Highbury on Wednesday night. However the manager then admitted that captain Patrick Vieira is unlikely to play before December. The French midfielder has been out since the Newcastle game on September 26 because of a thigh problem. His recovery from that, plus the one-game suspension following the away match at Manchester United, may mean he will not be back until the Carling Cup tie with Wolves on December 2. “For Kyiv, we have only Patrick Vieira and Martin Keown (calf) out,” said Wenger. “Patrick’s injury just needs rest at the moment. However I would say that he is not likely to play until December. That's because after November 17 he is suspended for one game. Maybe he could be back for the Wolves game.”
