Leeds United manager Peter Reid is set to recall Jermaine Pennant, David Batty and Mark Viduka from the side that played Manchester United, for the visit of Arsenal at Elland Road.
Winger Pennant was cup-tied for the extra time defeat to The Red Devils in the Carling Cup but should return on the right wing in place of James Milner, who may revert to the left side of midfield in place of Lamine Sakho.
Michael Bridges should drop to the bench with Mark Viduka having recovered from injury, while Salomon Olembe has shrugged off the dead leg sustained on Tuesday and could replace Ian Harte at left back.
Two-goal hero Roque Junior should partner Zoumana Camara at the heart of the defence with Dominic Matteo still struggling with injury.
Gunners boss Arsene Wenger could field an entirely different starting XI to side that played against Rotherham in the Carling Cup on Tuesday.
The Frenchman opted for the youthful line-up against The Millers, but will recall the likes of Jens Lehmann, Ashley Cole, Sol Campbell, Ray Parlour, Robert Pires, Fredrik Ljungberg and Thierry Henry against The Whites.
Wenger has no fresh injury worries ahead of the trip to Elland Road, with Patrick Vieira sidelined, but will have to contend with ensuring his troops are in the right frame of mind following their disciplinary hearing for their misconduct at Old Trafford in September.
Opta Stat: While Arsenal have recorded their best-ever start to a Premiership season, this is Leeds' worst-ever opening to a Premiership campaign.
Opta Stat: There have been more cards shown in this fixture than any other in Premiership history.
Leeds 9/2 Draw 9/4 Arsenal 4/6 -
