Spanish sensation Cesc is on course to become Arsenal's youngest ever player. Arsenal have named nine players without first team experience in their squad for their Carling Cup tie against Rotherham on Tuesday.
John Spicer, Graham Stack, Craig Holloway, Gael Clichy, Jerome Thomas, Olafur-Ingi Skulason, Ryan Smith, Cesc and Dutch starlet Quincy Owusu Abeyie have been drafted into the first team.
Should Cesc play, he will break Jermaine Pennant's record of being the youngest player to represent The Gunners at 16 years and 177 days.
The Spaniard - who arrived in the summer - is not the only 16-year-old in the squad as England youth midfielder Ryan Smith is yet to turn 17.
Many of the faces will be new to Arsenal fans, let alone anyone else but they are obviously talented.
Former Ajax trainee Abeyie and Icelandic defender Skulason add further to Arsenal's first team foreign legion.
Spicer, Stack, Holloway, Clichy and Thomas have all been involved with Arsene Wenger's first team before - but are yet to make their full debuts for the Highbury outfit.
Arsenal do have some experience going into the game with Rotherham - Pascal Cygan, Sylvain Wiltord, Kanu and Edu have been in the squad.
