THFC DERBY CLASH. Arsenal will be without Patrick Vieira for longer than they originally expected as manager Arsene Wenger revealed that his captain is out for at least another three weeks. The France international made his comeback from a three-week lay-off in Arsenal's Champions League defeat in Kiev. But Vieira sustained a new thigh problem which was expected to keep him out for a fortnight. After the draw against Charlton, the Arsenal manager said: "It could be at least three more weeks before Patrick can play again." This means that Vieira will not only miss next weekend's trip to Leeds and the return fixture against Dynamo, but also the north London derby against Tottenham on November 8, which Arsenal had hoped he would play in. But an international break could then give him time to recover before the Premiership fixture at Birmingham on November 22 and the Champions League tie away to Inter Milan three days later.
