Arsenal captain Patrick Vieira will be out of action for at least two weeks. As part of an exclusive interview with Arsenal.com on Thursday afternoon, manager Arsène Wenger revealed the midfielder's thigh injury flared up again during his 30-minute appearance as a substitute at Dynamo Kiev on Tuesday night. He is set to miss the Premiership trips to Charlton and Leeds plus perhaps the home games with Kiev and Tottenham. "Patrick has had a set back and he will be out again for a few weeks," he said. "I was cautious with him because we took the needed time. But as well maybe we were a little bit optimistic with him given the situation. "We don't know what is happening with his muscle but he is not right and it will be at least two more weeks. He definitely misses this weekend, there is no doubt about that." Martin Keown (calf) is also expected to be out for another fortnight. But Freddie Ljungberg should be available for Sunday's trip to Charlton after shaking off his ankle problem. Meanwhile Philippe Senderos (back inflammation) has returned to training and should be in contention the week after next. Stuart Taylor (shoulder) is expected to begin training again next week. The full video interview with Wenger reveals much more than injury news. The manager, who picked up a nasty cold in the Ukraine, reflected on the Kiev game, Charlton's fine form, why they cannot be considered "overachievers" anymore and his early thoughts on the Carling Cup.
