Juventus boss Marcello Lippi has admitted that his side made some mistakes in the 2-2 draw with Inter last night. The two teams met at the Delle Alpi in a highly entertaining first leg which has put Inter in pole position to reach the Coppa Italia final. "We made a few errors in the first half," stated the tactician whose defence again looked sluggish as Adriano scored twice. "We conceded one goal too many even if it was an excellent game." The Italian champions twice came from behind thanks to a good display and two goals from Marco Di Vaio. "Di Vaio did play well but he was only doing what we expect from him like his teammates," noted Lippi. Although the result clearly favours Inter, boss Alberto Zaccheroni had a few regrets about the tie. "I was hoping for a different result," he explained. "We had some really good opportunities to win the game." Inter did play well in spells despite the absence of a host of injured first team members. Their cause was then complicated by the dismissal of goalkeeper Francesco Toldo. "The game started badly for us as we almost immediately lost Gamarra with an injury," added Zac. "Then Toldo’s dismissal complicated things even further."
