Barcelona star Edgar Davids has hinted that he will pass on the chance of returning to Serie A this summer. The Dutch international is a known target for both Inter and Roma but he seems set to snub any approach. "Barcelona will be the first club that I will talk to regarding where I will be playing next season," said the international. "I think that I will probably stay here because I have got to know this club and the players reasonably well. "There are also some fantastic people here who have done nothing but encourage me since I arrived." The former Ajax man is currently on loan at the Nou Camp from Juventus until the end of the season. However, he won’t return to Turin as his contract with the Italian champions will expire in June. Davids was allowed to leave the Delle Alpi at the start of this month - but only if he joined a foreign club as Juve didn’t want to strengthen an Italian rival. Both Roma and Inter were hoping to grab the 30-year-old in the summer on a free transfer.
