Lazio player Massimo Oddo has pledged his future to the club despite constant speculation suggesting he will be sold. The Italian international has been continually linked with a transfer to Juventus but the player insists his future is in Rome. "I’m really happy and feel settled at Lazio," he said. "What shirt will I be wearing next season? The Biancocelesti one. "The squad that we have here consists of a fantastic group of players and I intend to stay here for some time to come." Oddo’s statement has surprised some given the fact that he is by no means guaranteed a first team shirt. Boss Roberto Mancini has left him out of the side at times by deciding to field Jaap Stam in the right back role. The 28-year-old is currently in his second season with Lazio following two fine years with Verona. Oddo is also a regular squad member of the Italian national side and is set to be part of the Euro 2004 campaign.
