Lilian Thuram has revealed that he hopes to end his playing days with Italian giants Juventus. The Frenchman is tied to the Delle Alpi outfit until the summer of 2006 when he intends to hang up his boots. "I won’t leave Juventus until my contract expires," Thuram told the Italian magazine Guerin Sportivo. "I’d love to end my career wearing the Bianconeri jersey." Thuram, who recently turned 32, has been at Juventus for two seasons now after his £23m move from Parma. "I’ve been thinking about retiring for some time but I’ll make a final decision on whether to play on when my contract expires," he added. When asked what his post playing days could have in store for him, he seemed to rule out remaining in the football world. "I’ve already considered a few things but I don’t think I’ll stay in football," he added. "This sport has given me many things but I would prefer a complete change."
