Harinder Mishra (PTI) Jerusalem, February 9 Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon has approved his country's participation in India's moon mission - Chandrayaan I. "The Prime Minister has expressed keen interest in the mission giving his go-ahead. He has asked the ministry to provide him with further details, exploring the possible areas of cooperation, appreciating India's initiative and its recent successes in this field," a spokesperson for the Ministry of Science and Technology, Michal Ogolnik, told PTI. Sharon was informed about the Indian proposal asking Israel to join the Chandrayaan-I mission by Science and Technology Minister, Eliezer Sandberg, who visited New Delhi in December.
