Alessandro Del Piero has expressed his frustration at being left on the substitute's bench recently.
The Juventus striker was left out of the line-ups for the recent games against Olympiakos and Parma, but started this afternoon's Coppa Italia match against Siena.
"Sitting on the bench makes me angry. That's because I can't contribute to the side," he told Tuttosport.
He continued: "I get injured at least once a year and it takes time for me to get back to my best. However, I'm now back and I hope to be fundamental for my club again.
"I don't want to spend anymore time on the treatment table this season."
