news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/4332926.stmEngland completed their Uefa Championship campaign and boosted their confidence before the play-offs with a comfortable victory against Poland. Carlton Cole opened the scoring with a deft chip after latching on to Gary O'Neil's pass and Jerome Thomas made it 2-0 with a sidefoot shot from the left. Steven Taylor added a third when he bundled the ball home before Poland's Marcin Kikut scored a fine solo goal. After the break, Pawel Strak was sent off before Taylor sealed the win. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- England U21: Carson, Ryan Taylor (Onuoha 85), Whittingham, Steven Taylor, Ferdinand, Huddlestone, Reo-Coker, O'Neil, Cole (Stead 87), Lennon, Thomas (Milner 65).
