Argentine hotshot Fernando Cavenaghi says there is no truth in stories linking him with Juventus.
Reports in South America suggest that the striker, currently on international duty at the Under-20 World Cup, will join the Turin giants in January.
"All the stories in Buenos Aires are pure speculation," said the River Plate ace. "Nobody from Juventus has spoken to me or my club.
"There is nothing official in these stories whatsoever."
The 19-year-old has been linked with the Bianconeri for some months now after he was suggested to the club by former Juve hero Omar Sivori.
And Cavenaghi, also a target for Roma and Inter, certainly seems willing to make the move if Juve step up their interest.
"Playing alongside a superb individual like Alessandro Del Piero would be great," he continued.
"Yet I want to underline the fact that I am still with River Plate and after this tournament I will go back there."
Juventus may need a new striker in January if they release Uruguayan international Marcelo Zalayeta to Parma.
