news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/football_focus/3798309.stmSol Campbell believes England have a better chance of glory at Euro 2004 than at the World Cup two years ago. England, who reached the quarter-finals in Japan and Korea, begin their Euro 2004 campaign against France on Sunday at Lisbon's Estadio Da Luz. "Mentally we are definitely much better prepared this time," Campbell told BBC One's Football Focus. "We have got the squad to do well. We just need to start on the right foot and see what happens." Campbell will be asked to partner Ledley King or Jamie Carragher in the centre of England's defence against France after John Terry was ruled out with a hamstring injury. But the Arsenal defender is confident he will be able to form an effective barrier to the French attack with either player. He said: "That happens in football. You have got to adapt. "A true professional is capable of adapting, that's the key really. "You've got to be open as a footballer and appreciate that players get injured and someone else comes in and you've got to play and form a relationship quickly, and just get on with it. "Communication is a big part, and my communications skills are fantastic." Watch Saturday's Football Focus to see this interview in full.
