news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/england/3573999.stmEngland coach Sven-Goran Eriksson has held talks with Chelsea chief executive Peter Kenyon about taking over at Stamford Bridge, according to reports. The Sun newspaper features photos which it says show Eriksson emerging from a two-hour meeting at Kenyon's home on Thursday, 25 March. Eriksson's England contract runs until 2006 but he has continually been linked with the top job at Chelsea. The Football Association says it knows nothing of the meeting. But a spokesman told the BBC that the FA intended to speak with Eriksson as soon as possible. Eriksson has consistently denied he is interested in leaving England despite speculation linking him with a host of clubs including Real Madrid. He said last month: "There are clubs around Europe phoning and asking, but I always say I'm not interested. I have a good deal and an excellent job. "I have a contract until 2006 and I have no offer from any club and I've never had any discussions about it." Kenyon has denied the meeting took place, suggesting that the photos are fabricated or are from his time in charge at Manchester United. Eriksson is due to name a squad on Saturday evening for Wednesday's match against Sweden.
