Juventus boss Marcello Lippi is aiming to get at least a point against Galatasaray on Tuesday to ensure they win their Champions’ League group.
"We’ve already qualified but we still need a point to make sure that we win the group, therefore that is our objective for the game," said the tactician.
The two clubs will meet each other in Dortmund, Germany, after the game was switched to neutral ground because of safety fears in Turkey.
With qualification already assured, Lippi will take the opportunity to rest a host of key players with also a game against Olympiakos in Turin remaining.
"I’ve brought along all the players that I believe will be needed for this match," added the Coach.
"Buffon, Nedved and Trezeguet will start from the bench but there will be other changes from the side that lost 3-1 against Inter."
Veteran midfielder Antonio Conte is set to get his chance and he’s vowed that he and his teammates won’t be taking it easy.
"It will be a real game for us because Galatasaray still have hopes of qualification. We on the other hand want to keep hold of top spot," said the former Lecce hero.
"That will be vital for us as we want to take on a team that finishes second in the next round even if we will still play a quality side in the last 16.
"We will be very motivated to do well because we want to show people our quality by putting in an excellent performance."
