Beckham aims to follow Wilkinson's lead at Euro 2004 England captain David Beckham has said the country's Rugby World Cup winners will inspire his side to victory at Euro 2004. Speaking ahead of Sunday's draw for the tournament, he said he was confident of another major English sporting victory. There were nationwide celebrations last weekend as Jonny Wilkinson kicked England's rugby side to victory against Australia for the country's first major trophy since 1966. And Beckham told the News of the World: "Our rugby heroes are a great inspiration to me and all the England lads. "We saw the passion that went into the England rugby team's efforts. Now the England footballers have to have that passion as well. "To see those scenes of triumph down under and witness the emotion that goes through the country when things like that happen in sport is very special. "It will be thrilling for me and the boys to come back from Portugal next summer in the same way." England are in Group B, along with reigning champions France, Switzerland and Croatia. Beckham is confident England can win the tournament. "We fear no one - and we can win the tournament next summer. "We are good enough to win Euro 2004. I believe we can go all the way. We all have to believe that. "We're not worried. I'm confident in our own ability. Whoever we get, I am certain we can win it."
