England coach Sven Goran Eriksson has included Charlton's Scott Parker in his squad for the friendly with Denmark on Sunday after the midfielder's outstanding start to the season.
Parker has been integral to the South Londoners' remarkable form in The Premiership, with Alan Curbishley's men currently lying in fourth place in the table.
The 23-year-old failed to get off the substitutes' bench during the defeat to Australia on his previous call-up to the senior squad.
Chelsea youngster Glen Johnson, who scored the opening goal in Sunday's 5-0 romp over Newcastle United in front of Eriksson, is also drafted into the squad, along with recalled Middlesbrough defender Gareth Southgate.
There was no place for Rio Ferdinand, with the threat of suspension still hanging over him, Sol Campbell or Southampton striker James Beattie.
The absence of Beattie is a major surprise as Eriksson is entering the game with only three forwards in the absence of the injured Michael Owen.
The Swede hinted he may be tempted to deploy Chelsea midfielder Joe Cole in an advanced role for the Old Trafford encounter.
Squad:
David James (West Ham), Paul Robinson (Leeds), Ian Walker (Leicester); Phil Neville (Man United), Gary Neville (Man United), Ashley Cole (Arsenal), Wayne Bridge (Chelsea), Danny Mills (Middlesbrough), Glen Johnson (Chelsea), John Terry (Chelsea), Matthew Upson (Birmingham), Gareth Southgate (Middlesbrough); David Beckham (Real Madrid), Frank Lampard (Chelsea), Joe Cole (Chelsea), Nicky Butt (Man United), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), Danny Murphy (Liverpool), Scott Parker (Charlton), Jermaine Jenas (Newcastle); Emile Heskey (Liverpool), Wayne Rooney (Everton), Darius Vassell (Aston Villa).
