skysports.planetfootball.comby Tom Adams Holland will wear a special anti-racism kit in their match against England at Villa Park on February 9. The gesture represents a mark of solidarity with Thierry Henry's racism initiative, Stand Up Speak Up, which is supported by such world stars as Ruud van Nistelrooy, Ronaldinho, Roberto Carlos and Adriano. Carlos himself was the subject of racist abuse in the Madrid derby this month, as the Real star was taunted by Atletico fans and the club were fined just £420. Racism has been particularly high on the agenda in English football since the disgraceful scenes during the bad-tempered friendly with Spain in November. The unsavoury events of the night had been preceded by Spain boss Luis Aragones voicing a racial slur against Henry (pictured) to his club-mate Jose Antonio Reyes during a training session. It was events such as these that inspired Henry to reveal his initiative at the Fifa World Player of the Year gala, and the KNVB have shown their support by declaring that the Holland team will sport a symbolic one-off kit with a black and white shirt, black shorts and white socks.
