news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/3633212.stmDiego Maradona has left the clinic near Buenos Aires where he has been undergoing rehabilitation to cure his drug addiction since May. Maradona, 43, has been put under the custody of judge Norberto Garcia Vedia, who decides on any major moves the former Argentina star wishes to make. Judge Vedia has now granted Maradona permission to return to Cuba. "All the parts, like the family and others, should be notified now, and only after that he can leave," he said. He added: "Also, legally we have to wait a couple of days to see if someone files any complaint about this." Maradona was admitted to hospital on 18 April with breathing and heart problems.
