news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/3923667.stmVicente Sanchez made amends for his semi-final penalty miss to score the winning goal in Uruguay's Copa America third-place play-off against Colombia. Sanchez's saved spot-kick against Brazil halted Uruguay's passage into Sunday's final. But he produced a scintillating left-foot lob in the 80th minute of the consolation game to edge out Colombia. Fabian Estoyanoff put Uruguay ahead in the third minute before Sergio Herrera equalised with a 71st-minute penalty. But Sanchez wrapped the game up in some style as he flicked the ball into the top right-hand corner of the Colombia goal. Uruguayan coach Jorge Fossati fielded a number of players who had featured as little more than reserves in the tournament to date. But they got off to the best possible start in Cuzco when Sanchez sent Estoyanoff on his way. They should have extended that lead still further as they increasingly dominated the tie, but two good chances went begging. Colombia battled their way back into the game when Herrera stepped up to the penalty spot after team-mate John Viafara was illegally felled in the box. But Uruguay failed to be deterred by their opponents' goal and Sanchez produced his deft flick with 10 minutes left on the clock to win the day. The final will be played out between Argentina and Brazil in Lima on Sunday.
