Video evidence will not be used after David Trezeguet was caught on camera elbowing Dario Simic. The hitman was spotted raising his arm to Simic’s face during the heated 1-1 draw between Milan and Juventus. Several scuffles broke out around the field in Saturday’s game, but the Disciplinary Commission chose not to take any action. Video evidence is very rarely used in Italy and will only be considered if the officials did not witness an off the ball incident. Referee Salvatore Racalbuto claimed in his report that he had seen the clash, but did not consider it to be "violent". Seven players have been suspended in Serie A this week, but Brescia midfielder Francelino Matuzalem has been slapped with a two-match ban for his horrific two-footed tackle on Parma’s Daniele Bonera. Two-Match Ban: Matuzalem (Brescia) One-Match Ban: Marchegiani (Chievo) Perrotta (Chievo) Donadel (Parma) Lanzaro (Empoli) Carrozzieri (Sampdoria) Piangerelli (Lecce)
