Juventus will be without four first team regulars for the Champions’ League test at Real Sociedad this week.
Boss Marcello Lippi named a 20-man squad for Wednesday’s game but some familiar faces will be missing.
Lippi has resisted the temptation to include Alex Del Piero despite seemingly recovering from a calf strain.
The Italian champions will also be without David Trezeguet, Lilian Thuram and Gianluca Zambrotta. Enzo Maresca and Salvatore Fresi are omitted too because of injuries.
However, the Bianconeri look good for a place in the next round after winning all three of their group games so far.
A point in San Sebastian may be enough to ensure qualification even with games against Olympiakos and Galatasaray to follow.
