Manager Steve Staunton has named a panel of 29 players for the Republic of Ireland's friendly against Chile and the training camp in Portugal.
Staunton said he had chosen a large squad to give more players experience of the international set-up.
Three uncapped players are included - Tottenham's Terry Dixon and Stephen Kelly and Liam Lawrence of Sunderland.
The Republic travel to Portugal on Friday 19 May and play Chile in Dublin on Wednesday 24 May.
Sixteen-year-old Dixon has yet to play for Tottenham's first team, but the striker impressed boss Staunton during the Uefa under-17 championship.
