news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/f/falkirk/4586954.stmFalkirk have agreed an 18-month deal with Irish Under-19 midfielder Patrick Cregg, subject to a medical on Friday. The youngster joins from Arsenal, where he has been since the age of 13 and made three Carling Cup appearances. Bairns manager John Hughes told the club website: "We are delighted to have Patrick on board at Falkirk as he is an excellent player. "We had him up for a bounce game last month and within 10 minutes we knew he was the type of player we wanted." Hughes raided the Arsenal reserves earlier this season to land fellow Irish youngster Stephen O'Donnell.
