soccernet.espn.go.com/preview?id=190368&cc=5739KO - 19:45 UK - Celtic ParkCeltic manager Gordon Strachan will be without injured Bhoys star Chris Sutton for the CIS Insurance Cup quarter-final clash with Rangers at Parkhead The versatile Englishman missed the weekend win at Falkirk with a knee problem and has failed to recover for the Old Firm derby. But midfielder Alan Thompson returns after suspension, while Aiden McGeady is hoping to start again after an impressive display at the Falkirk Stadium. Strikers Maciej Zurawski and Craig Beattie (both hamstring) are still sidelined. Rangers manager Alex McLeish will be without Brahim Hemdani and possibly Peter Lovenkrands. Hemdani had to come off after just 27 minutes of Saturday's goalless draw with Aberdeen with a thigh strain and will not face Gordon Strachan's side. Lovenkrands was feeling the effects of a virus and could not continue after the first half last Saturday. He is rated doubtful, although his condition improved today. That will mean a shake-up to the midfield but Ian Murray, Hamed Namouchi, Alex Rae and Chris Burke are standing by. Striker Nacho Novo is out of plaster after breaking a bone in his foot and could be in contention in two weeks.
