news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/internationals/4352030.stmBrian Kerr's future is expected to be decided on Tuesday when the Football Association of Ireland meet to discuss his job as Republic of Ireland manager. A 10-man panel will debate whether Kerr should be offered a new contract, despite failing to lead the Republic to qualification for the 2006 World Cup. Sir Bobby Robson, Sir Alex Ferguson, David O'Leary, Martin O'Neill and Kenny Dalglish have been linked with the job. But Kerr said: "If they don't want me then I am available for work." He added: "I will be out scrapping for a job because I have not been out of work since I left school." Robson, Ferguson and O'Leary have each played down speculation that they will replace Kerr, who took over the job in January 2003. Kerr said: "I am the same as any person here, or anywhere else, who works on a contracted job and it is under review - checking your performance, having a look at how you did and making your mind up on whether to keep you. "A lot of people end up out of work after this situation."
