WHO DO THINK YOU ARE WARNOCK.... FERGIE?
PISS OFF AND CONCENTRATE ON YOUR SHITTY CLUB AND THE LET THE CLASS END OF THE TABLE DO THEIR THING. BOLLOX BOLLOX BOLLOX AND MORE BIG FAT HAIRY BOLLOX TO YOU AND YOUR TEAM. ;D
AHEM... HERE'S THE POST
Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell has laughed off suggestions from rival Neil Warnock that he has begun playing mind games in the race to take the second automatic promotion place.
Sheffield United manager Warnock, who spent 17 years of his career working with Blackwell at a number of different clubs, insists the pressure is not getting to his team as Leeds continue to eat away at what once looked an unassailable lead they had built up over them, but was still moved to make this remark in the Yorkshire Post:
"I do not want to know what Kevin Blackwell or anyone else has to say now. But I will leave the talking to him because he is doing enough for both us.
"The mind games are at work everywhere. There are that many people talking, you don't know who to listen to. According to some people, Leeds have caught us up now but I still see a six-point gap when I look at the league table.
"They will try to put pressure on you, quite rightly so. But the same people are going to get pressures themselves over the next few weeks."
Blackwell though insists he will keep his focus on what his own team are doing, and if Warnock wants to worry about United or Watford are doing, then it's up to him.
Said Blackwell: "Mind games? Believe me I am not smart enough to play them and will leave it up to the expert - Neil, he's good at it.
"You can't win games in your mind, only on a football pitch and right now the players are doing all the talking I need.
"I am not going to do Neil's team talks for him, but Sheffield United are six points ahead and they are in the ascendancy. It's theirs to lose and for anybody below them to try and catch them.
"If we don't do our job and win games then what's the point of playing mind games with Sheffield United?
"Because of myself and Neil, it is being portrayed as a two-horse race between the apprentice and the sorcerer.
"But Watford are only a point behind and are right on our tails. It is not Leeds and Sheffield United, it is Watford, Leeds and Palace — they are the ones that can chase Sheffield United."
