news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/l/leeds_united/3876757.stmGOOD LUCK AND I WILL MISS YOU BUNDLES Leeds defender Ian Harte has signed a four-year deal with Spanish La Liga side Levante. The 26-year-old left-back will join up with Sweden international Johan Mjallby, who recently left Celtic. "I am joining an ambitious club and I want to make my mark and remain here for several years," said Harte. The Valencia-based club face their first season in the Spanish top flight for 39 years after winning promotion last season. "I know they are a team who have only recently been promoted from the second division, but I have a lot of confidence in them," said the Republic of Ireland international. Harte admitted it had been a difficult choice for him to leave Leeds. "I am sad to have left Leeds, because I have left some good friends there." "But I think I have made a positive step in my career coming to Levante, I was surprised by the reception I received at the airport and I hope to give the fans something to be happy about on the pitch," Harte added.
