news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/3804901.stmBulgaria legend Hristo Stoichkov believes Stilian Petrov must quit Celtic in order to further his career. The 23-year-old midfielder, who will skipper his country at Euro 2004, has been a huge success at Celtic Park since arriving in 1999 from CSKA Sofia. "I think Stilian has the chance to move to a bigger league now," said Barcelona coach Stoichkov. "He should be looking to compete for a club such as Barcelona or some other big team in Spain, Italy or England." Petrov has scored six goals for Bulgaria in 48 appearances and will go head-to-head with former Celtic team-mate Henrik Larsson when playing Sweden on Monday evening. "After five years in Scotland it's very important for him to move on and develop as a player it's normal," added Stoichkov. "I have had a lot of people asking me about Stilian's position, including Frank (Barcelona coach Rijkaard). All I can really do is pass on information."
