www.sportinglife.com/footballLiam Miller could be a surprise selection for Celtic in the UEFA Cup fourth round second leg at Barcelona on Thursday. The 23-year-old signed a pre-contract agreement with Manchester United in January and was not expected to play for the Hoops again. But, after proving his fitness after a long-term injury problem, Miller will join his team-mates on the flight to Spain on Tuesday. The midfielder said: "The manager asked me this morning how I was, I said fine and that was it. "I'm on the plane to Barcelona and we'll see what happens after that. Maybe I'll make the bench but I'm taking nothing for granted. "There are a lot of injuries but a lot of the young lads have been getting a chance and they've been doing well so I'm probably behind in the pecking order now. "I've trained for the last five days but there's only one way to find out if I'm ready for Barcelona. "I was feeling a bit rusty getting into the swing of things but hopefully my chance will come playing through the games. It was just nice to be back playing again. "The problem was my pubic bone and hopefully it has settled down now. I hope I've seen the back of it. "I came off because I wasn't going to play the full game anyway."
