news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/3525004.stmSlovakia defender Stanislav Varga has been added to Celtic's injury list. Varga picked up a blow to his hip during Wednesday's 2-1 league defeat of Dundee at Dens Park. And Celtic cannot yet say whether he will be fit in time to face Barcelona in their Uefa Cup second leg, for which their defensive options are limited. Bobo Balde is suspended, Ulrik Laursen is out injured and Johan Mjallby, Joos Valgaeren and Chris Sutton are all struggling for fitness. Goalkeeper Rab Douglas will not find out until Monday whether he has succeeded in his appeal against the red card he received in the first leg. Celtic manager Martin O'Neill admits he has been down to the "bare bones". "It is a long season and there's been no break," he said. "Because of the loss of Bobo Balde going away on international that time, and with injuries, it has been very difficult to keep going. "So I have enormous respect for them to keep at it and wanting to win every game and I'm pleased to win another difficult game."
