Celtic will find out on Tuesday whether a knee injury suffered by Shaun Maloney in an under-21 game on Monday is as serious as first thought.
The striker went down after only five minutes of the game following a seemingly innocuous challenge by Partick Thistle's Eddie Forrest.
The reaction of Forrest and Maloney's team-mates suggested the injury was a bad one.
Maloney will have a scan on Tuesday to establish the extent of the damage.
