After agreeing a one-month deal with Thistle, veteran Portuguese striker Jorge Cadete could face his old club at Firhill on Sunday.
The home side will be missing Jean-Yves Anis, Kenny Milne, Jamie Mitchell, Andy Ross and Derek Fleming, while co-manager Gerry Britton is a doubt.
Celtic defender John Kennedy is pushing for a return to the side having recovered from a head injury.
But John Hartson, Johan Mjallby and Liam Miller are still injured.
