Dunfermline's veteran striker Craig Brewster has failed to respond to treatment on his damaged ankle. Gary Mason is still out with a knee injury but Greg Shields is available after being cup-tied at the weekend.
Celtic striker John Hartson continues on the sidelines with a back injury, while Johan Mjallby is not yet fit.
Manager Martin O'Neill will make a late decision on whether to include defender Bobo Balde, who has just returned from the African Nations Cup.

The clubs met in Fife on the opening day of the season and shared the spoils in a 0-0 draw.
