The Old Firm's Scottish Cup quarter-final will be played on Sunday 7 March with a noon kick-off. A date was announced 24 hours after Rangers' 2-0 third-round defeat of Kilmarnock at Rugby Park. Celtic, having beaten Hearts at Tynecastle on Saturday, were drawn at home and will be strong favourites to make the semi-final. Meanwhile, the re-arranged tie between Clyde and Dunfermline Athletic will be played on Tuesday 24 February. Saturday's match was abandoned due to heavy snow early in the second half with Dunfermline 2-1 ahead. Now the two will meet again at Broadwood Stadium for the honour of facing Partick Thistle at Firhill. It had originally been pencilled in for 17 February, but Dunfermline striker Stevie Crawford is likely to be involved with the Scotland squad to face Wales that midweek. Aberdeen will host Scottish Premier League rivals Livingston after the West Lothian outfit beat amateurs Spartans on Sunday. Unless Clyde defeat Dunfermline, Inverness Caledonian Thistle, who host Motherwell, will be the only non-SPL outfit in the quarter-finals. The other three ties will be played the day before the Old Firm meeting. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Full draw: Aberdeen v Livingston Celtic v Rangers Partick Thistle v Clyde/Dunfermline Athletic Motherwell v Inverness Caledonian Thistle
