Henrik Larsson's agent has revealed the Swede will not quit Celtic in the January transfer window - even if Martin O'Neill's side go out of the Champions League. But he admitted he would consider offers from the Premiership at the end of the season after Newcastle United were linked with a £3m move for the 32-year-old striker. Larsson will leave Parkhead at the end of this term after a magnificent career in Scotland, despite hopes at Celtic that he would have a change of heart. Larsson's representative Rob Jansen told this website that claims he may leave in January were "ridiculous" - but confirmed that a switch to the English top flight would be considered once his Celtic career was over. Newcastle boss Sir Bobby Robson is an admirer of the prolific Swede, and was reported to be ready to test Celtic with an offer in January if they go out of the Champions League after their final group game in Lyon on Wednesday. But he, and other Premiership pursuers, will have to wait until the summer to see if they can tempt Larsson to the Premiership. Jansen told BBC Sport: "This suggestion is completely ridiculous, Henrik will finish his career in Scotland with Celtic at the end of this season. "He will not leave Celtic in January and will stay at the club until the end of the season. Of course he will consider offers from the Premiership if they come in then."
