Kevin Kilbane is bracing himself for the biggest international match of his career as Republic of Ireland prepare to lock horns with Switzerland. The Swiss currently top Group 10 in the Euro 2004 qualifying campaign and the Irish must win in Basel to keep their tournament dreams alive. Everton winger Kilbane is fully aware of the importance of the fixture with Brian Kerr's troops desperately hoping to avoid the agony of missing out on the finals. Kilbane is confident Ireland can collect the result required and is champing at the bit to put his country's Euro 2004 aspirations to the test. "I've featured in some massive international games but I have to say this one is the most important of my career," said Kilbane. "It's been at the back of my mind day and night ever since we played Russia and I can't wait. "There have been a few changes since we last played the Swiss, not least the fact that we've got a new coach in Brian Kerr. "He's come in, done a good job and everybody is confident of getting a result for him."
