Republic of Ireland utility player Gary Doherty did not report for Brian Kerr’s squad get-together on Tuesday morning as he was delayed in London to attend hospital following an infection.
Doherty was suffering from an infection in the blood and he was subsequently delayed in London after being kept in hospital as a ‘mere precaution’ following the infection.
"He {Doherty} is just out of hospital and will join us on Wednesday, but it wasn't anything serious and was just a precaution", Irish boss Brain Kerr said.
