A third series of Celebrity Big Brother is to be screened on Channel 4 in January, the station has announced.
Eight famous faces are being lined up to take part in the programme, which will be presented by regular hosts Davina McCall and Dermot O'Leary.
The identities of the well-known contestants will not be revealed until they enter the Big Brother compound.
The last two series were won by former Take That star Mark Owen and acerbic comic Jack Dee.
The final of the last Celebrity Big Brother in 2002 was a ratings winner, attracting half of all TV viewers on the night with six million viewers.
Emotional outbursts
Voting during the series raised £220,000 for children's charities.
Other memorable moments have included emotional outbursts from comic Les Dennis, and broadcaster Vanessa Feltz scrawling messages in chalk on the dining room table.
In 2003, Channel 4 declared that no more celebrity versions of Big Brother would be made.
"I'm sceptical how different and interesting you can make Celebrity Big Brother," said Mark Thompson, who was chief executive of Channel 4 at the time. He left the network earlier this year to become the BBC's director general.
