news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/film/3985649.stmThe trailer for the third and final Star Wars prequel, Episode III: Revenge of the Sith, will make its debut in US and Canadian cinemas on Friday. The trailer will appear before screenings of new animation The Incredibles, which opens that day. Members of StarWars.com were able to see the trailer online from Thursday - non-members can see it from 8 November. The movie, due out in May, will show how Anakin Skywalker turns into the evil Darth Vader. Record-breaker Creator George Lucas revived the original Star Wars series in 1999 with The Phantom Menace, the first in a prequel trilogy set years before the events in the original Star Wars. The second film, Attack of the Clones, followed in 2002. The original Star Wars trilogy was released on DVD last month. Star Wars, made in 1977, The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and The Return of the Jedi (1983) are some of the most popular movies in cinema history. The DVD set broke a UK sales record after one day of release - internet retailer Amazon received more than 85,000 pre-orders for The Star Wars Trilogy, beating the 50,000 high set by Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
