Leeds band the Kaiser Chiefs are definitely at number one in the dressing room at Elland Road with a number of United stars now big fans.
Kaiser Chiefs latest single "Modern Way" is out today and the band will be hoping it follows in the success of previously released tracks from their debut album, Employment.
The Kaiser Chiefs recently became patrons of the Leeds United Members Club and recently trained with the Leeds United team at Thorp Arch. Plans are also being made for a concert to be held at Elland Road.
Striker Rob Hulse, midfielder Shaun Derry and defender Gary Kelly all turned up to support the boys at one of their homecoming gigs at Leeds Town Hall last month and were blown away at the performance.
"It was a fabulous show. The lads were great and we all had a very good night," Hulse said.
"I would like to pass on my thanks to the Kaiser Chiefs for the way they entertained us and treated us. We really enjoyed it," he added.
Derry, whose girlfriend is part of a band, said they were a brilliant live band.
"I'm into this kind of music anyway but they really knew how to get the crowd going and that made it a great experience for everyone there," said Shaun.
Gary Kelly believes Leeds and Leeds United supporters should do what they can to support one of the hottest acts to come out of the city in years.
"It was quite something to be there and hear everyone shouting Leeds United chants, it made it an incredible atmosphere."
"They're a good bunch of lads and for them to add extra dates in Leeds to their tour shows how close they still are to Leeds. They're fans of ours and we're fans of theirs, so we'll be doing everything we can to support them.
"I would definitely go and see them again, it was one of the best gigs I've ever been to."
