KO - 12:30 UK - Turf Moor
Burnley manager Steve Cotterill's injury problems show signs of clearing after the international break.
Midfielder Wade Elliott (ankle) is pushing for inclusion against Leeds, although utility man Danny Karbassiyoon is less likely to feature.
Skipper Frank Sinclair (ankle) should also be available and Keith Lowe returns after missing the 1-0 win over parent club Wolves, leaving defender Wayne Thomas and goalkeeper Danny Coyne (both cruciate ligament) as his only long-term injuries.
He said: "(Elliott and Karbassiyoon) are training better as time goes on. It gave John McGreal and Frank Sinclair's ankles time to settle down a little bit.
"Wayne Thomas is due to have his brace off so next week he`s got two surgeons appointments, so by next week, he'll be on the mend."
Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell is waiting on the fitness of both Rob Hulse and David Healy.
Hulse aggravated an ankle ligament injury in training earlier this week and is a major doubt, while Leeds were dealt another blow when Healy limped out of Northern Ireland's defeat in Austria with a similar problem.
Should both strikers fail to recover boss Blackwell will be left with just Ian Moore and Robbie Blake to choose from.
Richard Cresswell is sidelined until the New Year with knee ligament damage and Michael Ricketts is on loan at Cardiff and cannot be recalled.
Sean Gregan is expected to partner skipper Paul Butler in central defence, while Dan Harding hopes to be included following his midweek run-out with the reserves.
