www.leedsunited.comBlackwell though revealed he has not been happy with the recent fixture schedule which he believes puts too many demands on players. Since the last international break at the start of September, Leeds have been playing nearly three games a week for the past past two weeks and the Leeds boss feels they are starting to feel the strain. "We looked tired against Watford on Saturday and the fact is we are playing too many games crammed into such a short time," he said. "Seven in 21 games and five in fifteen days is just ridiculous. We start the season, play two games and then have a two week break before finding ourselves seemingly playing as many games as possible. Now we've got nothing in 14 days. "We've been putting too much stress on the players - we are overloading their bodies too much - it's a joke." Rob Hulse, skipper Paul Butler and a few other players have been receiving treatment for injuries in-between games and it's them Blackwell hopes the break will benefit most. "I am going to give the lads three or four days where I don't want to see them and they don't want to see me. "We have one or two players who are carrying little niggles so hopefully we can clear those up over this two week break." For his part Blackwell will be kept busy scouting and is taking in a number of reserve games over the next few days.
